Top French Chefs to Gather in Seoul to Mark Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations

Top French chefs will gather in Seoul this week to mark the 130th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Korea and France.
 
The renowned chefs will take part in a “So French Delices” event at the Shilla Hotel for five days starting on Wednesday.
 
The event will feature course meals, regional French dishes and traditional French pastries prepared by Martial Enguehard, a top chef who holds the prestigious MOF title, and Claire Verneil, a pastry chef popular for her cooking show on TV, among others.
 
Meanwhile, SPC Group’s Paris Baguette will hold a “So French Delices Street Food Festival” together with the French Embassy in Seoul at Gwanghwamun Square on Friday and Saturday.
 
Also at the square, the French Institute under the embassy will hold a food-tasting event and also set up a celebratory booth marking the 130th anniversary.
