The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Tuesday dipped two-point-three points, or zero-point-12 percent, to close at one-thousand-969-point-97.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose two-point-29 points, or zero-point-33 percent, to 693-point-34. 

On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened one-point-six won against the greenback to one-thousand-187-point-seven won.
