The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) advanced six-point-83 points, or zero-point-35 percent, to close at one-thousand-952-point-95 on Wednesday.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose five-point-32 points, or zero-point-79 percent, to finish at 679-point-64.

On the foreign exchange market, the local currency weakened nine-point-five won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-216-point-two won.
