Institute Sows Seeds of Endangered Wild Plants

The Species Restoration Technology Institute has sown the seeds of endangered wild plant species to restore damaged natural habitats within national parks across the country.

The institute under the Korea National Park Service said on Tuesday that it has sown about 55-thousand seeds of 135 plant species including the endangered wild plant Metanarthecium luteoviride.

The seeds were collected from eleven national parks last year and came from the nursery of the institute.
