South Korea's largest exhibition on manufacturing automation will be held at the COEX convention center in southern Seoul from Wednesday through Friday.
 
Automation World 2016 will see the participation of some 300 companies including Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Schneider Electric and LS Industrial Systems. The annual exhibition has showcased innovative trends in South Korea's manufacturing sector since 1990. Around 25-thousand visitors including engineers in the industry are expected to visit this year's event.
 
The Korea Institute of Industrial Technology will create a booth displaying the future of smart factories as the next generation of manufacturing. A conference on smart factories will also be held.
