S. Korea Ranks 10th Among OECD States in Inflation Growth

South Korea has seen its ranking jump in terms of inflation rates in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development(OECD).

According to OECD statistics, South Korea came in tenth out of the organization's 34 member states in terms of its annual inflation growth rate after it reached seven-tenths of a percent last year.

The tenth place ranking came just three years after South Korea ranked 21st in 2012.

The country's ranking apparently rose rapidly amid the overall slowdown in global economic growth and as the trend of low consumer prices was relatively prominent.
