The secondary KOSDAQ, heavy with tech-related shares, lost one-point-63 points, or zero-point-24 percent, to finish at 672-point-21.

On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated two won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-201-point-four won.
