First Yellow Dust of the Year Expected in S. Korea Saturday Night

South Korea is expected to face yellow dust for the first time this year on Saturday night.

The Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA) said Friday that the yellow dust, which comes from Mongolia and northern China, is being carried by strong winds and will be observed in South Korea starting from the islands in the Yellow Sea such as Baengnyeong Island.

With a yellow dust warning expected to be issued, weather experts advise the elderly to refrain from going outdoors until early next week and to take care of their health.
