South Korean shares closed higher on Thursday.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) added ten-point-75 points, or point five-five percent, to close at one-thousand-958-point-17.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose six-point-76 points, or one-point-02 percent, to 669-point-01.
On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened 12-point-nine won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-214-point-six won.
