The Korea Electric Power Corporation(KEPCO) will participate in Iranian projects to rebuild electric facilities in the Middle Eastern country.
 
KEPCO said on Monday that it signed three memoranda of understanding(MOUs) with Iran in Tehran regarding three projects.
 
One of the projects entails construction of a 500 megawatt power plant in Chabahar in southeastern Iran.
 
Under the MOUs, KEPCO plans to secure a construction site for the power plant and raise funds in cooperation with POSCO Energy and POSCO Engineering and Construction.
