North Korean media are continuously reporting on the statement issued by the North’s Supreme Command of the Korean People’s Army, which identifies South Korea’s presidential office and government buildings as primary targets.
 
The North’s state TV and radio aired 15 reruns of the statement since it was first broadcast on Tuesday evening by the Korean Central Television (KCTV) and the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
 
KCTV continued to broadcast the footage of senior anchorwoman Ri Chun-hui reading the statement, while the North’s state newspaper Rodong Shinmun put it front page on Wednesday.
 
The North’s propaganda Web site “Uriminjok-kkiri” is also delivering the statement.
 
These moves by the North Korean media appear to be aimed at solidifying the unity of North Korean residents.
