The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Tuesday lost two-point-14 points, or zero-point-eleven percent, to finish at one-thousand-914-point-22.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also slipped seven-point-83 points, or one-point-two percent, to 642-point-31. 

On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated three-point-three won against the U.S. dollar to close at one-thousand-231-point-one won.
