All S. Koreans Return Home from Gaeseong

All 280 South Korean citizens have returned home from the inter-Korean Gaeseong Industrial Complex in North Korea.

Seoul’s Unification Ministry announced that the last South Korean workers and officials crossed the Military Demarcation Line at around 10 p.m. Thursday.

Following Seoul’s decision to suspend operations of the joint industrial park, the North ordered all South Korean workers to leave the country by 5:30 p.m.(KST) Thursday.

The South Koreans had to leave their business assets and products at the complex as the North announced to freeze all South Korean properties at the factory park.
