Two dozen Chinese tourists are visiting South Korea from Thursday on a tour package aimed at attracting Chinese Muslims.

The Korea Tourism Organization(KTO) said 24 Chinese Muslim tourists will stay for five days and be given a diverse array of Korean food options at restaurants certified by the Korea Muslim Federation.

The KTO produced a guide book on Korean halal-certified restaurants in Chinese and developed the special tour package providing halal foods jointly with Asiana Airlines and domestic and foreign travel agencies.

The tour also includes visits to major tourist attractions in Seoul such as Bukchon Hanok Village, Cheonggyecheon, Dongdaemun and Myeongdong.
