S. Korea Vows Safe Evacuation from Gaeseong

South Korea has vowed efforts to safely and swiftly evacuate its nationals from the Gaesoeng Industrial Complex.

Presidential Office Spokesman Jeong Yeon-guk told reporters that all measures were being taken to retrieve materials and its employees from the inter-Korean complex as soon as possible.

More than 120 South Korean firms have production facilities at the factory zone in North Korea.
 
Jeong, meanwhile, said more details regarding a visit to Washington by First Deputy Director Cho Tae-yong of the top office's National Security Office would be provided later.
