The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) recovered to the one-thousand-900 level on Thursday.
The main index rose 25-point-59 points, or one-point-35 percent, to close at one-thousand-916-point-26.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also added two-point-68 points, or zero-point-39 percent, to 683-point-62.
On the foreign exchange market, the local currency strengthened 17-point-two won against the U.S. dollar to finish at one-thousand-202-point-one won.
