The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) on Wednesday dropped 15-point-93 points, or zero-point-84 percent, to close at one-thousand-890-point-67.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also dipped three-point-92 points, or zero-point-57 percent, to 680-point-94.
On the foreign exchange market, the local currency weakened eleven-point-nine won against the U.S. dollar to finish at one-thousand-219-point-three won.
