S. Koreans Carry Average of 74,000 Won in Cash

South Koreans on average carry 74-thousand won, or roughly 61 U.S. dollars in cash.
 
According to a survey by the Bank of Korea, South Koreans carried an average of 74-thousand won per person last year, down three-thousand won from a year ago.
 
South Koreans owned an average of one-point-91 credit cards per person.
 
The most frequently used form of payment was by credit card, accounting for 39-point-seven percent of private settlements.
 
By amount, credit cards made up 40-point-seven percent last year, up more than three percent year-on-year.
 
The level of satisfaction for cash as means of payment was highest at 80-point-five points and 80 points for credit cards.
