KOSPI Inches Up to Regain 1,900 Level

South Korean shares managed to climb on Thursday.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) inched up nine-point-07 points, or zero-point-48 percent, to finish above the one-thousand-900-point threshold at one-thousand-906-point-94.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose six-point-04 points, or zero-point-89 percent, to 681-point-29.

On the foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened six-point-five won against the U.S. dollar to close at one-thousand-208-point-five won.
