KOSPI, KOSDAQ Close Higher as Oil Prices Recover

South Korean stocks further rose on Monday as oil prices rebounded from 12-year lows.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) added 14 points, or zero-point-74 percent, to close at one-thousand-893-point-43.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also climbed ten-point-48 points, or one-point-56 percent, to 681-point-43.

On the foreign exchange market, the local currency appreciated five-point-nine won against the greenback to close at one-thousand-194-point-two won.
