KOSPI Reaches Lowest Level in 4 Months

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) lost throughout the trading session on Friday, reaching below one-thousand-880.
Despite opening the day fifteen points higher than Thursday's close, the main index lost 21-point-14 points, or one-point-11 percent, to close at one-thousand-878-point-87. The figure marks the lowest level since September 8, 2015.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell four-point-76 points, or zero-point-70 percent, to finish at 678-point-43.
On the foreign exchange market, the local currency remained flat from Thursday at one-thousand-213-point-four won.
