The official newspaper of North Korea’s ruling Workers’ Party of Korea says that South Korea’s dependence on foreign forces is an act of betrayal that deepens inter-Korean confrontation.
 
The Rodong Sinmun said on Wednesday that reunification is a great achievement which the two Koreas should join forces to pursue, and that Seoul must reject intervention of foreign forces in order to improve inter-Korean relations.
 
The paper said that South Korea’s so-called unification diplomacy to seek cooperation with foreign forces does more harm than good to cross-border relations.
