S. Korea's Unification Ministry Activates Emergency Team

South Korea’s Unification Ministry has activated an emergency situation team following North Korea’s fourth nuclear test.
 
A ministry official said on Wednesday that the ministry has decided to activate the team in line with a manual on response measures in the event North Korea conducts a nuclear test.
 
The official said that the ministry is also discussing measures to enhance the safety of South Koreans in North Korea.
 
Currently, one thousand-171 South Koreans are staying at the Gaeseong Industrial Complex in the North.
