Gov't to Provide Education for Workers in Aerospace Industry

Starting this month, the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning will provide education for those working in the aerospace industry to improve their practical skills and capabilities.

The government said on Monday that the move comes given that domestic aerospace firms are mostly small and thus have difficulties providing regular technical education for their employees.

The training programs will cover education on launch vehicles, satellites and focus on practical exercise.

The ministry will publicly recruit trainees and open six courses until March.

Details of the programs are available on the Web site of the Korea Institute of Human Resources Development in Science and Technology (KIRD).
