Bank of Korea Governor Lee Ju-yeol has stressed the importance of concession and compromise in achieving reform and restructuring.
 
In an event celebrating the New Year on Monday, Lee asked each economic player to make concessions for the sake of the great cause, as it is not easy to carry out reform while accommodating the interests of all parties concerned.
 
In his New Year’s message, the governor emphasized that reform is significant and necessary for South Korea to improve its economic fundamentals and secure more growth potentials.
