The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) plans to provide comprehensive assistance to local companies seeking to sell their wares on the world’s largest e-commerce site Amazon.com.
 
Announcing the decision during a recent meeting with local companies, the trade agency said it will help the companies from preparation to marketing, logistics and finance.
 
The agency said it will look for promising local exporters and give them the information and know-how needed to become Amazon sellers and promote their goods through online marketing platforms.
 
It said South Korean consumer goods are gaining popularity in the U.S., brightening the prospects for exporting South Korean goods online.
