The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) continued to dive on Monday, reaching as low as one-thousand-919 during the day.
The index fell 20-point-80 points, or one-point-07 percent, to close at one-thousand-927-point-82.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also declined 23-point-11 points, or three-point-54 percent, to 630-point-37.
On the Seoul foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened five-point-three won against the greenback to close at one-thousand-184-point-eight won.
