N. Korea Blames S. Korea for Unproductive Inter-Korean Talks

North Korea blamed South Korea after the inter-Korean high-level talks ended without an agreement.

The North’s official Korean Central News Agency reported on Sunday that the South insisted on unfair demands, while refusing to discuss fundamental inter-Korean issues such as resuming tours to the North’s Mount Geumgang resort.

Pyongyang also claimed that during the talks, the North Korean delegates presented diverse proposals and made sincere efforts to resolve the urgent issues associated around the inter-Korean family reunions and the tour program as well as promote inter-Korean exchanges in the private sector.
