Depository Institutions' Household Loans Posted Sharpest Growth in Oct.

The amount of loans taken out by households from financial companies posted the largest growth ever in October.
 
The Bank of Korea announced on Tuesday that loans given out to households by non-bank depository institutions in October alone grew nearly 12 trillion won from September.

That’s the sharpest monthly rise to be recorded since April when such loans surged by ten-point-one trillion won.
 
Housing mortgage loans surged seven-and-a-half trillion won, or the second largest growth to be posted after April when they grew by eight trillion won.
 
Credit loans jumped four-point-three trillion won during the same period, posting record monthly growth.
