Korean Air to Fly A380 from Incheon to Bangkok and Sydney

South Korea’s flagship carrier Korean Air plans to operate A380 superjumbo jet routes from Incheon-Sydney and Incheon-Bankgok from next month.

Korean Air decided to replace B777 and B747 aircraft with the world’s largest passenger airliner A380 for the routes in order to accommodate more passengers.

Demand is high for the two routes from December to February, with the average occupancy rate reaching 90 percent.

Korean Air plans to operate the A380 on the Incheon-Sydney route until March 28 and the Incheon-Bangkok route until March 1 next year.
