KOSPI, KOSDAQ See Gains Tuesday

South Korean shares saw gains on Tuesday after declining the previous day due to global concerns including the terrorist attacks in Paris.
 
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) managed to regain the one-thousand-960 mark. The index climbed 20-point-56 points, or one-point-06 percent, to close at one-thousand-963-point-58.
 
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose 12-point-97 points, or one-point-97 percent, to close at 672-point-17.
 
On the Seoul foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened three-point-seven won against the U.S. dollar to one-thousand-170-point-four won.
