The number of South Koreans who have filed suit against Volkswagen over an emissions rigging scandal has surpassed 15-hundred.
 
South Korean law firm Barun Law said Wednesday that 398 South Korean owners of Volkswagen and Audi vehicles have filed suit against the German carmaker at the Seoul Central District Court.
 
The plaintiffs are demanding cancellations of their purchases and full refunds.
 
The cumulative number of Korean plaintiffs has now reached one-thousand-536. The law firm said that it will submit a suit to include 400 to 500 new plaintiffs every week.
