The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) on Friday dropped eight-point-34 points, or zero-point-41 percent, to end the trading week at two-thousand-41-point-07.

The tech-laden KOSDAQ also saw modest losses, declining zero-point-22 points, or three-hundredths of a percent, closing at 694-point-21.

On the Seoul foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency weakened three-point-four won against the U.S. dollar, to end at one-thousand-141-point-nine won.
