The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) recovered to the two-thousand-40 level on Tuesday.
The KOSPI rose 13-point-16 points, or zero-point-65 percent, to close at two-thousand-48-point-40.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ added two-point-12 points, or zero-point-31 percent, finishing at 682-point-13.
On the Seoul foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened three-point-nine won against the U.S. dollar, to end the day at one-thousand-133-point-one won.
