Global Retailers to Attend Trade Ministry's Consumer Goods Exhibition

Buyers from some 200 retail companies based in 33 countries, including U.S. e-commerce site Amazon.com and China's Beijing Hualian Group, will visit Seoul to purchase South Korean consumer goods.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said it will hold a two-day consumer goods exhibition at the COEX Convention and Exhibition Center in southern Seoul through Wednesday.

Around 500 South Korean consumer goods companies, including makers of fashion, beauty and food products as well as household appliances, will participate in the exhibition.

The trade ministry expects there to be some two-thousand consultations for exports between buyers and consumer goods makers.
