KOSPI Rebounds after 4-Day Losing Streak

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose five-point-77 points, or zero-point-28 percent, on Monday, closing at two-thousand-35-point-24.
 
The benchmark index rose for the first time in five sessions on the back of buying by foreign investors.
 
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ lost three-point-62 points, or zero-point-53 percent, to finish at 680-point-01.
 
On the Seoul foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency strengthened three-point-one won against the U.S. dollar, to end the day at one-thousand-137 won.
