The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority hopes to build an industrial zone specializing in automobiles, aircraft and robots by attracting high-tech corporations from home and abroad by 2018.
 
The authority said it will try to attract companies specializing in auto parts and materials as well as intelligent service robots in the areas of Songdo and Cheongna.
 
On the island of Yeongjong and at the Incheon Airport aviation maintenance specialized complex, the authority plans to host companies that build aircraft parts and fuselages.
 
The authority said it has compiled a list of companies it hopes to attract and will soon begin contacting them.
