The second round of inter-Korean family reunions is under way at the Mount Geumgang resort in North Korea.
On the second day of the second round of reunions on Sunday, the 254 South Koreans, or 90 families, met their 188 North Korean relatives and exchanged gifts for two hours from 9:30 a.m. in closed meetings.
The 98-year-old Koo Sang-yeon, the oldest participant from South Korea gave new shoes to his two daughters from North Korea. Another oldest South Korean participant, Lee Seok-joo also presented clothes to his son and daughter from the North.
The participants had a group meeting from 4:30 p.m. after lunch.
Reporters said that there are no serious health problems among the South Korean participants.
The families will return home after final farewell meetings on Monday.
