Due to bearish stock and bond markets at home, domestic equity funds mostly suffered losses this past week.

According to KG Zeroin, a South Korean fund rating and consulting firm, the average weekly profit rate of domestic equity funds was minus zero-point-58 percent based on Friday's disclosure.

The rate of return on equity dividend funds posted minus zero-point-25 percent and that of K200 index funds minus zero-point-27. Mid and small cap funds were even less profitable at minus one-point-45 percent.

Only 238 of the one-thousand-785 domestic equity funds with net assets of over ten billion won and an operation period of at least a month posted profits in positive territory this past week.
