KOSPI Up After ECB QE Signal

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) on Friday rose 17-point-40 points, or point-86 percent, to close at two-thousand-40-point-40.
 
Shares rose as the European Central Bank signaled that it may loosen policies if slowing growth and inflation continue.
 
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose five-point-67 points, or point-84 percent, ending at 681-point-97.
 
On the Seoul foreign exchange market, the value of the local currency increased 13-point-nine won against the U.S. dollar to close the week at one-thousand-124-point-seven won.
