Expectations for inter-Korean sports exchanges in table tennis are high as the Paris World Table Tennis Championships will be held as scheduled on May 19th thru the 25th, with both Koreas participating.

The Korea Table Tennis Association said Tuesday that the South Korean delegation led by the association chairman Yoon Young-ho, will make a proposal to the North Korean team for forming a unified Korean table tennis team.

The two Koreas formed a single table tennis team in 1993 in the Jiba World Table Tennis Championship, winning a gold in the team event.
