S. Korea's Red Cross Launches Preparations for Family Reunions

South Korea’s Red Cross has set up a task force to prepare for reunions of families separated by the Korean War as agreed during the high-level talks that lasted for more than three days.  

An official from the Korean Red Cross said on Tuesday that, as specified in the inter-Korean agreement, the organization will propose working-level talks to its North Korean counterpart early next month to discuss schedules and other details for the reunions.

The Red Cross plans to begin the selection process the reunions based on the inter-Korean agreement.
