S. Korea to Limit S. Koreans' Entry into Gaeseong Complex

South Korea has decided to limit the entry of its nationals into the Gaeseong Industrial Complex in North Korea following the North’s artillery firing.

A Unification Ministry official in Seoul said Friday that the government will only permit South Korean businessmen directly involved in the operation of factories at the industrial park to enter the complex.

In addition, the ministry will only permit those who can move in and out of the complex on the same day to enter the complex, with an exception for workers who should be on night duty.

With the measures, the government will halve the number of its nationals in the complex to 500 on weekdays and 250 on weekends for the time being.
