South Korea continued its loudspeaker broadcasts across the border despite North Korea’s artillery firing and constant threats.
 
The South Korean military operated its loudspeakers installed at eleven locations near the Military Demarcation Line from Thursday night to early Friday morning as scheduled.
 
The military even continued its broadcasts for four hours early on Friday in Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi Province, which witnessed the North’s artillery provocation Thursday.
 
North Korea threatened to launch military action, unless the South stops its propaganda broadcasts within 48 hours from 5 p.m Friday, but the South Korean military said it would continue the broadcasts.
