Global video-sharing giant YouTube has marked its tenth anniversary this year.

YouTube held a news conference on Tuesday at Google Korea in southern Seoul, presenting its business achievements in the Korean market.

Currently, 300 hours of video is being uploaded onto YouTube every minute, with the daily visitors increasing over 40 percent and views increasing over 50 percent every year.

YouTube said it has seen a 110-percent growth of views in the first quarter of this year in the Korean market, compared to the same period last year.

YouTube started its service in 2005 and was taken over by Google in 2006.
