3.3 Magnitude Quake Felt in S. Jeolla Province

An earthquake was detected near Boseong, South Jeolla Province, early Monday morning. 
   
The Korea Meteorological Administration reported that an earthquake with a three-point-three magnitude and an epicenter eight kilometers southeast of the Boseong County Office occurred around 5:28 a.m. Monday. 
   
Following the earthquake, reports of faint tremors and shaking buildings were made in Gwangju and parts of South and North Jeolla Provinces. However, no serious damage has yet been reported.
   
It is the sixth largest earthquake to hit the nation this year.
