The year's first snow fell Thursday morning on Mount Seorak.
 
The Korea Meteorological Administration said a mix of rain and snow fell on the mountain’s Jungcheong Peak at around 7:30 a.m.
 
The snow came from a combination of a cold front and a low pressure trough, falling for about four minutes.
  
The first snow on the mountain came a day later than last year.
