The fall season's first frost has been reported in Mount Seorak and the Daegwallyeong mountain pass in Gangwon Province.
 
According to the Gangwon Regional Meteorological Administration, Tuesday’s morning lows fell to minus zero-point-six degrees Celsius in Daegwallyeong in Pyeongchang County and one-point-eight degrees above zero at Mount Seorak.
 
The agency said the first frost and ice this fall were found at Daegwallyeong and Mount Seorak's Jungcheong Peak.
 
The first ice at Seorak comes nine days earlier than last year.
