The Korean Peninsula is expected to be under the influence of Typhoon Fung-Wong by Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Korea Meteorological Administration said that rain will begin in the afternoon from coastal areas in South Jeolla Province. The rest of the nation will see rainfall by Tuesday night with the exception of some parts in Gyeonggi and Gangwon Provinces.
 
The tropical storm will bring strong winds and heavy rains of over 30 millimeters per hour to South Korea until Wednesday.
 
Fung-Wong dealt a blow to China’s east coast after landing in Zhejiang Province on Monday evening. Some 350-thousand Chinese people were affected by the typhoon.
