The manager of South Korea’s football team, Hong Myung-bo, says his main goal is to lead the team into the round of 16 at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, set to open next Thursday in Brazil.
 
Hong announced his plan when he spoke to reporters on Wednesday at the Turnberry Isle Resort in Miami where the national team has stayed during their training.
 
Hong said it was his personal goal to get past the group stage, but said he knows the players are also full of determination.
 
On Thursday, the South Korean team will take a day off from training to recover from weeks of jet lag and rigid training.
